Mumford, Enid
(b. 1924) Gen Mgt
British academic. She adopted the sociotechnical approach of the Tavistock Institute of Human Relations, applying it to the design and implementation of information technology. Mumford termed her method ETHICS (Effective Technical and Human Implementation of Computer-based Systems), which is explained in Effective Systems Design and Requirements Analysis: The ETHICS Approach (1995).
